Wilbur “Skid Mark” Skallenworth, born June 12 1954 ,died August 13 2007. Wilbur constantly fought off alcohol and drug problems associated with the rough and tumble world of lawn mower racing. Although Wilbur never married, he will always be remembered for his love of fried hamburgers and fake sponsors as well as his come from behind win in the 1989 Craftsman Classic.
